Vindhyan Scourge (Vindhya Ki Vyatha) is the film which stimulated the movement Vindhya Bachao. The film was started in 2009 and was finished in 2011. Due to lack of resources, the entire film was shot with a digital camera and a tripod. Shot, directed, edited and narrated by Debadityo himself, the film soon attracted the community of scientists and journalists with interest in conservation.  The film is screened at reputed institutes like Banaras Hindu University, Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, Mumbai and several cultural centres since then.
